Product types

Purpose of predefined product types is to minimize the amount of data you need to feed in when creating a new product. Product type already contains information about the fixed properties that are common to all products of that type as well as the variable properties. So, working with products becomes much easier and less error prone when you need to concern yourself only with the varying properties. The predefined product types in the current version are:

• Stringer pallets
• Block pallets
  • Open decks
  • Closed decks
  • Legs

Product management

Product management features allow you to view, create, delete, change and copy products and print out the product information. More over, you can associate any document to a product which is very usefull for example finding the correct CAD drawing.

• Product creation based on predefined product type

Grouping

In the product management window, products are listed in a hierachical tree structure. The tree allows you to organize your products in a way that makes it easy to find products.

• Create a new product group
• Delete a product group
• Move product from one group to another
• Move product up and down inside the group

• Product identification by name
• Product identification by a product number
• Product wise production reports
