Features
Product Data Management
Product management features allow you manage, view and group products. Three predefined product types are included:
- Block pallets
- Stringer pallets
- Decks
Creating new products from these types is extremely fast and easy. Just give your product a name, select nail size and nailing pattern, feed in board dimensions and spacing information and that's it. After you have defined a product, you don't have to go into these details again. The other modules of the program refer to products by their name and once the product is created, it can be used indefinitely. Just create a product once and then forget about the details of it.
Production Planning
Production planning features are very simple and intuitive to use. Just pick the product from the list, tell how many pieces you want to manufacture and the program will generate a new production lot from this information. Production lots are queued and shown in the list where their order can be freely re-organized and their information changed. Production planning module includes also other features:
- select parts feeding method or route for production lot
- plan how products in the lot should be stacked. This feature allows you define also turning and nesting.
- view or print the parts list of one or more production lots
Execution control
Manufacturing execution is controlled much the same way the production is planned. You can:
- Pick planned production lots into the manufacturing queue
- Re-order lots in the manufacturing queue
- Change production lot information (amount, turning, nesting, routes etc.)
- Start and stop manufacturing of a production lot
- View the status of production lots in the queue
Again, the program does most of the work behind the curtains and the user only needs to step in when something exceptional happens.
